Everyone at college seems to be living their best life except you. And that’s a lonely, hard place to be in, especially when no one seems to understand. This isn’t what you signed up for when you started. Peacing out of the whole college scene, just seems like the best option.
You are not a quitter. You’ve come too far and you are worthy of a diploma. Nothing has to get in your way. No class, no money trouble and no social fear has to get in your way.
But if you really want to walk across that stage with a huge smile, you need to…
I’m Renée Bailey and I show students how to go from stressed out mess to college success.
You know you’re living the college life right when you’re not pulling all-nighters, are happy with what your major is, aren’t living off the last of the year-old saltines in the dorm kitchen and you’ve found your college fam.
How do I know this? Because I had all of those struggles and more. I was painfully wallflower-ish, broke as a joke, eeking out a passable GPA, near-drop out student. After my second semester in college I was ready to nix the whole thing and give up on ever graduating. I faced a stark moment where I had a definite choice: let my dreams pass me by or get my act together and fight for them. I decided to fight for my dreams and got two bachelor degrees in four and half years from a major university. Later I went on to obtain a masters degree. I believed I could get my diploma, so I didn’t walk away from my education. What I discovered in the process was that I made things so much harder on myself than they need to be in the beginning. I didn’t decrease my stress, I increased it!
So I just stopped doing that. I stopped dreading having to have a conversation with someone I didn’t know and joined in on the groups that I knew were for me. I stopped leaving class projects to the last minute. Learned how to find work study programs and grants so I wasn’t on an empty bank account.
Once I made that simple change in mindset, everything changed. Classes got easier, I started to find my peeps, and I didn’t have to feel guilty about getting a Starbucks. I could enjoy being in college.
And that’s what I am here to make sure you do too. I’m here to show you how to study better and more effectively, keep money in your hands and make certain you truly have a great time on campus with my…
